The late NT Rama Rao left an indelible mark in the hearts and minds of the Telugus by playing an excellent role in 'Panduranga Mahatmyam'.

Now his son Balakrishna is likely to play a role a similar role in 'Rangaa… Panduranga' under the direction of K Raghavendra Rao, who gave memorable hits like 'Annamayya' and 'Sri Ramadasu' with Nagarjuna.

The director proved that the people continue to like devotional films though the entire world is going hi-tech.

Popular music director Keeravani is being roped in as music director again, while JK Bharavi, who penned the script for 'Annamayya and Sri Ramadasu' will assist in preparing the story and dialogues.

The film is also being produced by Raghavendra Rao himself, while a popular artiste will play the role of a Maharaja in this heavy budget film.
